Oversee daily trade reconciliation processes for each fund
Maintain general ledger (US and INTL) for each entity
Review daily performance reports
Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations for CFO review
Prepare and compute allocations of income and expense items to investors
and respective capital statements for CFO review
Prepare allocations for FundRunner input
Update tax projects and tax basis calculations
Evaluate best practices and GL software programs
Coordinate tax compliance
Prepare tax work papers and allocations
Prepare audit work papers and coordinate with the auditors
Assist in the evaluation of general ledger software and other vendors as
the need arises
Assist and develop procedures and processes to improve the efficiency of
the department of the department
Assist in the annual SAS70 review and documentation
1-4+ years experience desired with hedge funds, fund administrators
and/or public accounting firms
Ability to relocate to the Monterey Peninsula (assist with relo costs
provided)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comp could be anywhere between $60k - $90k depending on the type of person -
public accounting person would get more than an administrator, more
years would get more base, etc.
